Ad-hoc Website Support

Ad-hoc website support is a pay-as-you-go service offering website owners a simple approach to completing work on their website without any contracts, whether it be a one-off fix or a yearly content edit.

This service is perfect for websites built on Shopify, Wix, Weeby or Squarespace, where no ongoing management is needed due to the hosting, backups, and security already built into the platforms.

Send us a support request; we'll quote the time to complete it, and once you approve it, we'll go ahead and make the changes to your website.

Website support FAQ’s

Choose ad-hoc website support if you only need help with occasional issues. This service is better for websites using platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Weebly, and Squarespace, as these platforms provide their own hosting and management, so we can only help with content edits and simple fixes within the limits of the platforms.

Opt for ongoing website maintenance if your website is on WordPress or Joomla, as these are self-hosted platforms, leaving you, as the website owner, to manage all security updates, hosting and backups.

You can get in touch by completing the contact form on our contact page.

If you prefer, you can contact us at +44 (0)1483 338 987 or drop us an email to info@swsweb.co.uk.

The frequency of website support depends on the complexity and needs of your site. Small business websites may only need support quarterly or even yearly, while larger, more complex sites may need monthly or weekly updates to ensure peak performance and optimisation.

While website owners can handle basic website support tasks, it is recommended that they hire a professional for comprehensive support.

Professionals have the expertise to address complex technical issues, security threats, and performance optimisations, allowing you to focus on your core business activities. This also prevents anything from accidentally going wrong on the website.
