The Children With Special Needs Foundation (CWSNF) had a very old website that required a refresh. We love to help good causes, so we were delighted to get involved with the charity and build them a new site.
The new website needed to be bright and fun, showcasing how the charity help children and how they fundraise.
As with all our website design projects, we started with our designer putting together a mock-up of how the site might look. As is often the case, she got it spot on straight away, and the team at CWSNF loved the design.
The site was then built using the WordPress platform. WordPress was chosen for its ease of use for the team at CWSNF to make edits in the future easily.
We utilise a fantastic page-building tool called Beaver Builder, which makes editing WordPress site content a breeze. It also ensures the website owner can edit everything on their site without needing us, as developers, to be required every time a minor change is needed. This ability to edit your website is hugely important to us, having seen so many agencies charge a fortune for a minor content edit. But of course, we’re always on hand should website support be needed.
On average, a website build takes around ten working days to complete, as was the case with CWSNF. We copied across all the old sites’ content, including videos, images and news/event content ready to go live.
The site is live at https://www.childrenwithspecialneeds.co.uk/. Please check it out, and if you can help donate to a very worthy cause, I know the CWSNF team would appreciate it.
