Cyber Essentials certified

We are pleased to announce we are now Cyber Essentials certified following a successful application through the Government scheme with IASME.

Cyber Essentials has been around since 2014 but has only started gaining popularity in the last few years and is now seen as a must-have for most organisations to ensure their IT practices and software used throughout a business are being kept secure. 

It’s one of those things you think you may not need until you go through the application process and realise how good or bad your current IT practices are. 

For SWSweb, it is now essential, not only from the servers we run for our hosting, to ensure our customers can feel even more confident in the knowledge we adhere to best practices on security but also to be included in the upcoming changes to .gov.uk domain registry. We manage numerous .gov.uk domains and sites, so being Cyber Essentials approved is a must-have for the Government to include us in future changes.
